PT Registered Nurse - Oncology/Day Infusion - Hospital RoleJob Type: Permanent position | Part time positionJob DescriptionAffordable onsite parking / Close to Public TransportSupportive Management to SupportYour Development We are currently seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Oncology ward on a part-time basis.

As a Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include:Deliver safe, researched-based standards of nursing careSupervise, direct and guide nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to deliver patient careDeliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end-of-life needsLed successful quality improvement and safety management project/s to deliver desired outcomesWork collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needsAct as a role model for Safe PracticeAbout the CompanyThis hospital is a world-class facility located in the South Eastern region of Melbourne.




Close to public transport and with affordable onsite parking.It is a state-of-the-art 147 bed hospital, comprising of a 24/7 Emergency Department, 6 bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 9 bed specialised Coronary Care Unit (CCU), 12 bay Day Infusion Unit and 5 specialised inpatient units.
– including Oncology, Urology, ENT, Orthopaedics, Plastic Surgery, Interventional Cardiology and Rehabilitation Services.
AboutYouAuthority toWork in AustraliaNowWorking with Children CheckBachelor of Science (Nursing)Demonstrated experience administering infusions2+ years oncology experience (desirable)Current Registration (no restriction) with AHPRACompliance with ACQSHC National standardsSound clinical decision making and problem solving skillsSelf-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high functioning teamExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsHighly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated and customer focusedAntineoplastic Drug Administration qualification (desirable, onsite ADAC training and education available to suitable applicants)
