What your day could look like
As a Clinical Nurse - Alcohol and Other Drugs Service, you'll help people navigate complex challenges and move towards healthier, more independent lives.
Working closely with consumers, families and health professionals, you'll provide high-quality care that delivers meaningful outcomes for individuals and the community.
Every day, you'll contribute by:
Delivering advanced assessment, care planning and case coordination that supports recovery and long-term wellbeing.
Building robust partnerships with consumers, carers and service providers to ensure connected, person-centred care.
Coordinating specialised treatment pathways and improving access to services that help people achieve their goals.
Supporting clinical excellence through mentoring, quality improvement and sharing professional knowledge.

You're a compassionate and capable nurse who brings integrity, courage and sound clinical judgement to your work.
You build trust quickly, communicate with empathy and remain focused on achieving positive outcomes, even in complex situations.
You'll take pride in supporting people through important stages of change while contributing to a service that values innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement.
Here's what will help you thrive in this role:
Current registration as a Registered Nurse and a current driver's licence.
Experience delivering evidence-based care in alcohol and other drugs, mental health and/or community health settings.
Strong assessment, case management, communication and clinical decision-making skills.
A collaborative approach and commitment to quality, safety and person-centred care.




You'll stand out from the crowd if you have postgraduate qualifications relevant to clinical practice and experience working within multidisciplinary community-based services.
