We have over 400 dedicated employees working from 21 centres across metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria.About Youth Enhanced ServicesThe Gippsland Youth Enhanced Service (YES) provides enhanced support to young people ***** years of age who are living with, or at risk of severe and complex mental health issues, and who require a greater level of support than what can be provided by GPs, private clinicians, headspace services and school counsellors.
Often referred to as the system's 'missing middle', the needs of this cohort of young people are typically considered to be too complex to be met by the primary mental health care system, but not acute enough for the tertiary mental health system.
The program will include holistic and high-quality mental health and psycho-social supports that will be continuously adapted to meet the changing needs of young people.About the roleReporting to Manager Youth Mental Health Services, your responsibilities include providing evidence-based mental health assessment,
therapeutic intervention and support to young people accessing the YES service.
This involves managing a clinical caseload, completing comprehensive assessments, supporting risk management, and working collaboratively with young people, families, multidisciplinary teams and community partners to deliver holistic, outcomes-focused carThis role is located at Sale and is part-time temporary role until 30 June ****, working four (4) days per week with Tuesday evening shift.
The base salary range is $101,948 - $109,287 (pro-rata) per annum.About you Degree qualified in an allied health discipline with relevant professional registration or membership.
Experience providing evidence-based mental health support to young people from diverse backgrounds.
Solid organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver quality outcomes.
