collect and organise evidence, upload to the reporting system, and serve as the primary point of contact for police requestsMonitor and respond to all loss technology alerts in partnership with the Security Operations Centre, and identify and report high-harm offendersEnsure team members are using and wearing safety devicesAssist in investigating internal stock theftEnsure all merchandise is properly product protectedMaintain physical security of store premisesProvide value-added support across: high risk products, threatening situations and reporting, product protection execution, shop floor security, technology systems and alerts.
---SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND QUALIFICATIONSMinimum 3 years' experience in retail security in a supervisor capacity, loss prevention, or a similar security-focused roleRetail Security Supervisor experience highly preferredCurrent Victorian Security LicenceCurrent First Aid CertificateCurrent National Police CheckStrong understanding of loss prevention best practices, security systems, and criminal law related to retail theftExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with team members, customers, and law enforcementProficient in the use of surveillance equipment including CCTV systems, alarm systems, and other security technologiesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick, informed decisions under pressureExceptional attention to detail and ability to identify suspicious behaviour in a retail environmentPhysical capacity to stand or walk for extended periods and respond to emergency situations swiftly
