If you're a senior physiotherapist ready to shape clinical practice, mentor the next generation of allied health professionals, and deliver measurable outcomes for a complex patient population, this ongoing full-time AHP3 role offers exactly that scope.
What You'll Be Leading Deliver and coordinate high-quality physiotherapy assessment and management for acute medical inpatients across a fast-moving, high-acuity ward environment Provide clinical supervision, guidance, and professional development for physiotherapy staff and students within the NALHN allied health team Contribute to service improvement initiatives, clinical governance, and evidence-based practice development within the Acute Medical Unit Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team to support timely, safe patient flow and discharge planning across the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network
What You'll Bring Degree qualification in Physiotherapy and current AHPRA registration Demonstrated extensive clinical experience in an acute or general medical inpatient setting Proven ability to provide clinical supervision and support the professional growth of less experienced clinicians Strong skills in person centred care and high-level clinical reasoning for complex clinical presentations Experience contributing to quality improvement, service development, or clinical audit within a health network context An understanding of, or commitment to, SA Health's values of respect, integrity, and care in every patient interaction
To be eligible for this position, you must have an Appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia.
