Village Manager - Wisteria Grove Retirement Village

This position reports directly to the Regional Operations Manager and will play a pivotal role in bringing RetireAustralia's mission to life.

The Position

Your role will be pivotal in implementing RetireAustralia's purpose to create thriving communities where older Australians live the life they choose in their own home.
Wisteria Grove in Broadview is one of inner North Adelaide's most trusted retirement villages, characterised by beautiful landscaped gardens and charming brick streets.
As the operational leader of the village, you will proactively take responsibility for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the village, ensuring that it runs smoothly and efficiently, while delivering high-quality services to our residents.
With our residents at the core of everything we do, your ability to show empathy and understanding, alongside your dedication to maintaining consistently high levels of resident satisfaction, will be integral to your success.
Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, your duties include:
Overall management of the retirement village, including financial management, staff management, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Planning, developing, and managing Village budgets.
Manage key services and maintain presentation of the Villages to high standards.
Develop and maintain relationships with residents, their families, and the wider community.
Provide exceptional customer service to residents, families, and other stakeholders.
Oversee the recruitment, training, and management of staff,



ensuring a high standard of service is delivered at all times.
Implement policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of residents.
Work collaboratively with the wider management team to ensure the successful operation of the village.
Selection Criteria
Previous experience in a similar role – retirement village or management of a multi-faceted service organisation
Previous experience within Retirement Living, Aged or Community Care services (desirable)
Previous Home or Residential Aged Care nursing experience (highly regarded but not essential)
Strong working knowledge of the Retirement Villages Act (or willingness to quickly ascertain), and other relevant regulations and standards, including health and safety
Demonstrated Managerial and Financial Management skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Relevant qualification in Business or Retirement Living (desirable)
National Police Check (or ability to obtain)
First Aid & CPR Certificate (or ability to obtain)
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including a drug and alcohol test
