Located in Beecroft NSW 2119, Macchina Espresso is a well-established café offering quality food and coffee in a welcoming environment. Macchina Espresso is currently seeking a Cook to become part of their team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in accordance with established recipes and quality standards.
• Preparing ingredients and food items for daily service, including washing, cutting, portioning and organising ingredients.
• Cooking and presenting meals consistently while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
• Operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently during food preparation and service.
• Monitoring food preparation, portion sizes and presentation to ensure consistency.
• Ensuring ingredients and food products are correctly stored, handled and rotated in accordance with food safety requirements.
• Maintaining clean and organised kitchen workstations, equipment and food preparation areas.
• Assisting with stock control and monitoring kitchen supplies as required.




• Working collaboratively with chefs, kitchen staff and front-of-house team members to ensure efficient service.
• Following food hygiene, workplace health and safety procedures at all times.

About you:

• At least one year of relevant experience as a Cook or in a similar commercial kitchen role.
• Sound knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques.
• Good understanding of food safety, hygiene and kitchen procedures.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced café setting.
• Solid organisational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining consistent food quality and presentation.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Valuable communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Type: Permanent/Full-time
Salary: $76,000 - $86,000 per annum
