Peaceful Mind Psychology currently has openings for independent psychologists, including graduates
is offering opportunities for independent recently graduated or experienced psychologists via non-restrictive service agreements.
Our comprehensive orientation process ensures your transition to private practice is a smooth one, regardless of whether you've worked in private practice before, or are brand new to private work.
Peaceful Mind Psychology's service to you provides 360° support, peer connection and has a heavy focus on self-care, so you can be assured you'll be well supported right from the get go.
We believe that when psychologists feel genuinely supported and cared for, it naturally enhances the quality of care they provide to their clients.

Peaceful Mind Psychology has openings for registered psychologists (or soon to be registered) to consult private clients for 2 days via a mix of F2F and Telehealth appointments.
Having recently expanded into a fourth location, we have availability across our Hawthorn, Armadale, Prahran and Glen Iris practices.
Our services offered to our psychologists include:
Optional Peer Support and CPDvia:
Regular social gatherings throughout the year, with an inclusive and supportive practice culture
Self-care groups run by board-approved supervisor
Online Discussion board and therapy resources
Direct support with our board-approved supervisor and Principal Psychologiston an as-needed basis
One-on-one training to learn the ropes of private practice work
Workshops and tips and tricks for psychologists entering private practice
Access to exclusive workshops and professional development events run throughout the year
We believe in self-care and typically structure our sessions to 5 or 6 client bookings per day (or as you wish)
Skilled roomswith:
Comfortable consulting rooms with a boutique feel and windows
Nearby car parking and access via public transport, as well as local cafes and shops
Service fee that rewards loyaltywith:
Service fee starting on 40% but reducing with days and longevity of using our services
No costs for room hire, supervision etc. (no hidden costs)
Administration supportwith:
Matching clients to your areas of interest and expertise, handling of intake and cancellations.
We use Halaxy which allows you to process payments and rebates at the end of your appointments in a quick and easy way.

Our practices are located in Armadale, Prahran, Hawthorn and Glen Iris.
Over 50 Psychologists engage our practice; all of whom are warm and professional (we have comments from our existing psychologiststs here ).
We predominately receive referrals for adults between the ages of ***** concerning various issues, such as relationship problems, depression, anxiety, eating disorders and stress.
We are interested if you:
Highly value client engagement via the use of counselling skills, competence in evidence-based intervention, and reflective practice.
Want to contribute to a culture of warmth, friendliness and support
Are able to consult via a mix of F2F and Telehealth.
Are fully registered with AHPRA as a psychologist.
Are willing to obtain an ABN, Medicare Provider Number and Professional Indemnity Insurance.
Our referral pathways currently include strong demand from clients seeking after-hours and Saturday appointments.
Practitioners who have some availability during these times are likely to be well matched to the needs of our client group.
