We are dedicated to supporting individuals, children, young people, and families to achieve positive outcomes through safe, compliant, and effective service delivery.We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Officer to join our team and drive continuous improvement across our services.About the RoleThe Quality Officer plays a critical role in ensuring organisational compliance with relevant legislation, standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
Working closely with operational teams and leadership, you will support quality assurance activities, risk management processes, auditing, and continuous improvement initiatives.The Quality Officer will work closely alongside the Human Resources Officer to support organisational compliance, workforce quality, policy implementation, staff training requirements, and other people and culture initiatives.
The role will provide assistance to the HR function as required, contributing to a collaborative approach to workforce and quality management across the organisation.This is an excellent chance for someone passionate about safeguarding, service excellence, and promoting best practice within the community services sector.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor and support compliance with NDIS Practice Standards, Child Safe Standards, and relevant Out-of-Home Care regulations.Conduct internal audits, compliance reviews, and quality assurance activities.Assist in the development, review, and implementation of policies, procedures, and quality systems.Manage incident reporting, investigations, corrective actions,
and improvement plans.Support the preparation for external audits and accreditation processes.Analyse quality and compliance data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.Maintain accurate records and compliance documentation.Provide guidance and support to staff regarding quality, compliance, and risk management requirements.Contribute to organisational governance and continuous improvement initiatives.Support a culture of quality, accountability, and person-centred practice.Work collaboratively with the Human Resources Officer to support recruitment compliance, onboarding processes, staff training records, policy implementation, workforce audits, and general HR administration as required.About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:Qualifications in Community Services, Human Services, Quality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.Experience working within the Disability, Community Services, Child Protection, or Out-of-Home Care sectors.Strong understanding of NDIS Practice Standards, Quality Indicators, and relevant child safety and care regulations.Experience conducting audits, investigations, or quality assurance activities.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong organisational and analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.Ability to interpret legislation, standards, and regulatory requirements.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and compliance management systems.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.Current Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain).
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or ability to obtain).
