Monash Health Mental Health is seeking an experienced and dynamic Nurse Manager to lead Ward E and Ward E Extension, a highly regarded acute adult mental health inpatient service.

With a strong clinical focus and strategic mindset, you will drive high-quality outcomes while ensuring operational excellence and safe, effective care delivery.About the RoleWard E and Ward E Extension is a combined 30-bed acute adult mental health inpatient unit providing specialist assessment,



treatment and care for adults experiencing severe mental health concerns that cannot be safely managed in the community.
Recognised for its collaborative and recovery-oriented approach, the service is committed to delivering high-quality, consumer-focused care that promotes positive experiences, timely access and effective patient flow.Consumers, families and carers consistently provide positive feedback regarding the team's dedication, professionalism and commitment to recovery.
Reporting to the Deputy Operations Manager and working closely with the Director of Nursing, the Nurse Manager is a senior leadership position responsible for the clinical, operational and workforce performance of the unit.
The successful candidate will provide visible leadership, support service improvement initiatives and ensure the delivery of safe, effective and evidence-based nursing care.About YouYou are an experienced nurse leader who is passionate about mental health care and committed to developing high-performing teams.You lead with integrity, empathy and accountability, creating an environment where staff feel valued, empowered and supported to deliver their best.
The successful applicant will demonstrate: Proven leadership experience within mental health services.Extensive knowledge of the Mental Health and Wellbeing Act **** and other relevant legislation governing adult mental health practice.
Solid clinical governance and risk management skills.
Exceptional stakeholder engagement, communication and relationship-building abilities.The ability to lead change,



drive service improvements and influence positive outcomes.
A commitment to workforce development, staff wellbeing and fostering a positive team culture.
