You will work Monday to Friday, ********* with one-hour meal break.DUTIESDeliver a Japanese language course based on existing materials, under the supervision of a Japanese senior teacherAdapt lesson plans, conduct assessments and other administrative dutiesReview and enhance existing course materials and develop current materials if requiredCreate engaging online activities to consolidate learningEssential Criteria1.
Fluent in Japanese.2.
University-educated, ideally in education, teaching, linguistics or translation3.




Minimum two years' experience teaching/tutoring English or Japanese to adults4.
Sound knowledge of different approaches to language teaching (for Beginners or Advanced students)5.
Deep understanding of daily life and society in Japan to support effective language teaching6.
Fluent in written and spoken English (including experience in translation or interpreting)7.
Familiar in the use of IT in language delivery and course development.8.
Proven experience in course development9.
Experience in assessment management and marking10.
Experience in translation or interpreting is desirable - international students or working holiday visa holders are welcomed to apply.
But you must be available for the whole duration of the course.
