We are currently seeking a caring and dedicated Persian-speaking Personal Care Worker to join our growing team on a casual basis, supporting clients in the Coomera region.
This role is ideal for someone who can provide culturally sensitive care and communicate confidently with Persian-speaking clients and their families.
What You'll Do
Assist clients with personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility supportSupport clients with meal preparation, feeding assistance, and daily living activitiesProvide companionship, social engagement, and emotional supportPerform light domestic duties such as cleaning, laundry, and household organisationFollow individual care plans and maintain accurate records of services providedCommunicate effectively with clients, families, and the broader care teamDeliver culturally respectful and person-centred care to Persian-speaking clients
About You
You are passionate about supporting people to maintain their independence and quality of life.
You bring:
Fluency in Persian (Farsi) and EnglishCompassion,



patience, and a genuine desire to help othersStrong communication and interpersonal skillsThe ability to work independently in clients' homesReliability, flexibility, and a professional approach to careAn understanding of the importance of cultural sensitivity and respect
Requirements
Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, Home & Community Care, or currently studying Nursing or a Health-related qualificationCurrent First Aid and CPR certificationCurrent Australian Driver's Licence and access to a reliable, insured vehicleNational Police Check (or willingness to obtain)NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain, if required)Full working rights in Australia
