Property Accountant / Asset Management Accounts Coordinator (Part time)Property Network of Australia - Sydney CBD NSWProperty Network of Australia is seeking a Property Accountant/Asset Management Accounts Coordinator to join a specialist property investment and asset management business focused on enhancing neighbourhood and sub-regional shopping centres across Australia.Our client partners with investors to actively manage assets, improve tenant performance, and create long-term value through disciplined asset management.
We are seeking an individual with previous or current experience in property accounting, accounts coordination, and financial reporting within the property sector.This hands-on role offers flexible working arrangements, initially three days per week with the potential to increase as the portfolio grows.
You will be responsible for tenant invoicing, accounts payable, cashflow reporting,
and maintaining financial controls using Xero and Re-Leased software.Key Duties & Responsibilities:Create and issue tenant invoices, monitor receivables, and manage arrearsProcess accounts payable, ensuring correct approvals and allocationsPrepare property cashflow reports and assist with annual budgetingProduce monthly financial reports and support month-end reconciliationsMaintain accurate records in Xero and Re-Leased systemsCommunicate with property managers, suppliers, tenants, and JV partnersThe ideal candidate will have:Previous experience in property accounting or bookkeepingAdvanced proficiency in Xero and ideally Re-Leased software (desirable)Strong understanding of accounts payable, receivable, and reconciliationsExcellent organisational skills and attention to detailClear communication and ability to work independently
