About the roleWe're seeking a friendly, professional, and highly organised Medical Receptionists to join our Myhealth network.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to get into general practice, or to pick up a few extra shifts!
As our Medical Receptionist, you'll be the first point of contact for many of our patients, playing a key role in providing excellent patient care and support.
Vacancies:
We are looking for Monday to Friday (likely 9am-2pm) at Myhealth Benowa, Carrara Street
We are looking for 2-3 days a week (including Mondays and Fridays) at Myhealth Benowa Village, Ross Street
Casual float positions across the Myhealth network in the Gold Coast Region.
Day in the Life:
Greeting patients and efficiently managing patient check-ins and registration
Overseeing and maintaining diary scheduling in collaboration with the Clinical Team (including waitlist management, booking in new clients and rescheduling appointments)
Answering patient queries via phone and email
Organising and maintaining patient records, ensuring confidentiality
Handling various ad-hoc reception tasks to support the smooth running of the practice
What we're looking for:
Minimum of 1-2 years of reception experience (medical preferred)
Best Practice experience (desirable)
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Medicare, DVA, Work Cover, HICAPS,



and Private Health Insurance billings preferred
Solid multitasking abilities and effective prioritisation of workflow
A positive, can-do attitude and a drive to make a meaningful impact on our patients and practice
