Casual Showroom Sales & Customer Service Assistant

Luxe Fireplaces is one of Sydney's leading premium fireplace retailers, specialising in high-quality electric, gas, wood, ethanol, and outdoor heating solutions. Based in our modern showroom in Glebe, we are looking for a motivated, professional, and customer-focused team member to join our growing business on a casual basis.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working with customers, thrives in a fast-paced workplace, and takes pride in providing exceptional service. You'll be the first point of contact for many of our customers and play an important role in supporting the sales team and ensuring our showroom is presented to the highest standard.

Hours:

- Friday: 9:00am – 5:00pm

- Saturday: 10:00am – 4:00pm

Key Responsibilities

- Welcome and assist customers visiting the showroom

- Answer incoming phone calls and direct enquiries appropriately

- Respond to customer enquiries via phone and email

- Assist with preparing quotations and general sales administration

- Follow up customer enquiries and outstanding quotes

- Maintain the presentation and cleanliness of the showroom

- Ensure product displays, brochures, and promotional material are well stocked and presented

- Support the sales team with day-to-day operational tasks





- Deliver an exceptional customer experience from initial enquiry through to sale

Skills & Experience

- Previous experience in customer service, retail, reception, or showroom sales is preferred

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Professional presentation with a friendly, positive attitude

- Strong computer skills and confidence using email and Microsoft Office

- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail

- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy showroom environment

- Reliable, punctual, and proactive with a willingness to learn

- Experience in the home improvement, interior design, construction, or heating industry is advantageous but not essential
