Dispensary Technician – Watsons Collaroy PlateauWatsons Pharmacy is seeking an experienced Dispensary Technician to join our friendly community pharmacy in Collaroy Plateau.This is a part time position working Monday, Thursday and Friday.
There may be an prospect for the role to increase to full time hours in approximately six months, depending on business requirements and the successful candidate's availability.This position would suit an experienced pharmacy professional who takes pride in accurate dispensing support, efficient workflow and delivering dependable service to patients.About the RoleWorking closely with the pharmacy team, your responsibilities will include:Assisting pharmacists with the preparation and dispensing of prescriptionsPreparing and maintaining Webster-pak Dose Administration AidsSupporting the day-to-day workflow of the dispensaryMaintaining accurate patient and medication recordsMonitoring and replenishing dispensary stockFollowing pharmacy procedures and relevant quality standardsProviding professional and courteous service to customersSkills and ExperienceTo be considered for this position, you will ideally have:Previous experience as a Dispensary Technician in an Australian community pharmacy is highly regarded.Experience preparing Webster-packs or other Dose Administration AidsStrong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracyGood organisational and time-management skillsA cooperative and reliable approach to teamworkClear and professional communication skillsThe right to live and work in AustraliaPrevious community pharmacy experience and relevant pharmacy qualifications will be highly regarded.This is a Part time position working:The role may increase to full-time hours in approximately six months.Salary and BenefitsCompetitive hourly rate based on experienceConsistent three-day rosterSupportive community pharmacy environmentOpportunity for the position to develop into full-time employment
