- Volleyball
- Badminton
Training Requirements
- All positions typically involve up to 2 training sessions per week (before or after school).
Competition Requirements
- Volleyball coaching – includes competition days on Saturday during Term 3 (18 July – 19 September 2026).
- Athletics Throws Specialist – no Saturday competitions, however the QGSSSA Athletics Championship event will be held on the final day of Term 3 (17 September 2026).
- Badminton coaching – no Saturday competitions during Term 3, however the competition is held on the first two Saturdays of Term 4 (10 October & 17 October 2026).
About the Position
Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Design and deliver high‑quality coaching sessions that cater to varying skill levels and abilities.
- Develop age‑appropriate training programs that focus on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
- Mentor and motivate students to achieve their personal best both on and off the field.
- Coordinate and attend sporting fixtures, carnivals, and competitions.
- Foster a positive, inclusive sporting culture that encourages participation and celebrates effort.
- Collaborate with Director of Sport, Assistant Director of Sport, Sports Administrators and other coaches to support the school's broader sporting program.
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students during training and competition.
About You
- Relevant coaching qualifications (preferred) in the sport you are applying for and at least 3 years’ coaching experience.
- Strong understanding of skill progression and age‑appropriate training methods.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Commitment to promoting confidence, resilience, and leadership through sport.
- Understanding of the unique considerations in coaching girls and young women.
- Enthusiasm for creating an inclusive environment where all students feel valued.
- Genuine passion for coaching and motivating young women.
- High professional and ethical standards.
- Collaborative team player who contributes to school community.
