The Opportunity

We're seeking contracting psychologists who are passionate about neuroaffirming, strengths‑based care and excited by creative therapeutic approaches.

You’ll enjoy:

- Flexible scheduling: Choose 2–4 days per week and structure your calendar your way.

- Diverse referrals: Work with clients across the lifespan, including therapy and assessments.

- Strong earning potential: Approx. $170 per standard session take home (based on 6 clients/day, after admin fees, before tax).

Who Will Thrive Here

You’ll be a great fit if you bring warmth, curiosity, and a commitment to inclusive, client‑led practice.

Essential

- AHPRA registration as a psychologist

- Commitment to neuroaffirming, strengths‑based, client‑centred care

- Availability for at least 2 days per week

- Australian citizenship or permanent residency status

Highly Valued (not required)

- Experience or interest in animal‑assisted therapy

- Interest in working with children/adolescents (4–16)

- Experience with autism and/or ADHD assessment

- Creative or experiential therapeutic approaches

- Lived experience of neurodivergence

Professional Qualities

- Empathy, inclusivity, and strong interpersonal warmth

- Respect for shared spaces and collaborative culture

- Integrity in clinical and business practices

- Openness to learning, supervision, and reflective practice

In Practice, You Will…

- Create safe, affirming spaces for neurodivergent clients

- If using therapy animals, uphold ethical practice and animal welfare

- Contribute positively to a supportive, collegial team

- Maintain autonomy as a contractor while feeling genuinely backed by the clinic
