Our modern in house bakery department requires your reliable, hardworking self to join us producing fresh pies, sausage rolls, cakes and slices for our lunch van network.
Whether you're an experienced baker, home baker or foodie, we'd love to hear from you. Full training provided.
What's on offer?
- $34.76 per hour casual rate (aged 21+)
- Monday to Friday - Occasional weekend work may be required
- 4:00am - 12:00pm
- 5-8 hour shifts, 3-5 shifts per week = 20-30+ hours per week!

Your role:
- Reliability and commitment - essential and valued
- Prepare and weigh ingredients
- Assist high volume bakery production
- Some experience with icing and finishing cakes and slices highly regarded
- Maintain food safety and cleanliness standards
- Assist with stock handling and general bakery duties
You may be required to support achievement of daily production targets Team members may work across Bakery,
Production or Warehouse depending on operational priorities and shift requirements.
Some work may occur in cold storage or high-temperature production areas.
What we're looking for:
- Passion for food, baking or cooking
- A proactive and hardworking attitude
- Excellent reliability and commitment - We're looking for someone seeking a long-term opportunity who takes pride in turning up and being part of the team
- Flexible team player willing to support bakery, food production and warehouse teams if required
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 25kg, with the ability to stand for extended periods
- Prior experience in a commercial bakery environment is advantageous
- Understanding of food safety regulations and HACCP principles
Please note:
This role involves working with meat, dairy and gluten-based products and commercial bakery equipment in a warm production environment.
Food aromas can be strong and may not suit those with sensitivities to food smells.
