Membership Sales & Enrolment Consultant – Martial Arts

$30 – $32 per hour + super + performance bonuses

Every afternoon, families walk through our doors looking for more confidence, focus, resilience and self-belief for their children.

Your role will be to make those families feel welcome from their very first enquiry, guide them through their introductory experience and help them choose the right martial arts program.

This is not a traditional reception position. It is a relationship-focused sales and enrolment role where you will connect with parents, support children taking their first steps into martial arts and help new families become part of the Black Belt Plus community.

About Black Belt Plus

Black Belt Plus is a long-established, family-owned martial arts centre in Burleigh Heads.

Since 1991, we have helped local children, teenagers and adults build confidence, discipline,



resilience and life skills through martial arts.

What You Will Be Doing

Your responsibilities will include:

- Welcoming members, prospective families and visitors
- Responding to enquiries by phone, email, text and in person
- Following up prospective families and introductory students
- Booking and confirming Introductory Lessons and appointments
- Conducting centre tours and helping families feel comfortable
- Presenting membership options and guiding families through enrolment
- Supporting recent-member onboarding, bookings and scheduling
- Processing memberships and completing administration accurately
- Tracking enquiries, appointments and enrolments in our member management system
- Helping maintain an organised, welcoming and professional reception environment

Success in this role will be measured through appointment bookings,



enrolments, consistent follow-up and the quality of the experience you provide to every family.

Experience in customer service, sales, fitness memberships, childcare, education enrolments, reception or another client-facing role would be highly regarded.

Experience working with children or families is also valuable.

Martial arts experience is a bonus, but it is not essential.

Hours

The role provides approximately 16–20+ hours per week.

The primary hours are:

- Monday to Thursday, approximately 2:30pm–6:30pm

Additional hours may be available through birthday parties, school holiday programs, special events and future business growth.

Because our busiest period is after school, applicants must be consistently available during the required afternoon hours and on Saturday mornings.

Pay

$30–$32 per hour + super + performance bonuses.

The final rate will be based on relevant experience, capability and results.
