Inver Engineering, based in Altona, Melbourne, seeks experienced Mechanical Fitters to service rolling stock. You will inspect, disassemble, assemble and test train components, perform overhauls on bogies and wheel-sets, and undertake machining work.
Experience with borers/lathes and precision measurement is valued. The role requires full Australian working rights and recognised Fitter/Turner qualifications; knowledge of rail or manufacturing environments is advantageous.
