About the Role
Thorny Devil is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to drive the next stage of our growth. This is a diverse, hands-on leadership role responsible for growing revenue, strengthening strategic customer relationships, and identifying current commercial opportunities across our business.
This isn't a traditional sales role. You'll be a trusted commercial leader working closely with the leadership team to shape strategy, develop key partnerships, and help drive Thorny Devil's continued success.
The role is hybrid, combining time on the road with customers and key accounts,
alongside office-based collaboration from Canning Vale.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute commercial growth strategies
- Manage and grow strategic and national key accounts
- Identify and secure new business across mining, construction, industrial, government, education and commercial sectors
- Drive growth across PPE, safety equipment, workwear and school uniforms
- Build long-term customer relationships
- Lead major tenders, contract negotiations and strategic customer initiatives
- Work closely with leadership on pricing, product strategy and market opportunities
- Provide technical product and industry expertise to customers
- Deliver customer presentations, product demonstrations and site visits
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities
