Warragul Toyota is seeking an experienced and motivated Automotive Salesperson to join our Sales team.

We sell New Toyota, Demonstrator and Certified Pre-Owned vehicles, and work closely across finance, service, parts and accessories to provide a complete dealership experience.

About the Role

As an Automotive Salesperson, you will be responsible for assisting customers through the full vehicle purchasing journey, from initial enquiry through to delivery and ongoing follow-up.

You will work with a strong Toyota product range, a loyal customer base and a supportive team environment, with the opportunity to earn commission based on your sales performance.

This role would suit someone who has previous automotive sales experience, strong communication skills, a collaborative team mindset, and the drive to deliver excellent customer outcomes while achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day duties will include:

- Assisting customers with New,



Demonstrator and Pre-Owned vehicle enquiries
- Managing the full sales process from enquiry through to delivery
- Building strong relationships with customers and maintaining regular follow-up
- Presenting vehicles professionally and conducting test drives
- Developing strong Toyota product knowledge
- Working towards individual and team sales targets
- Using dealership systems to manage leads, customer records and sales activity
- Liaising with finance, service, parts and administration teams
- Supporting vehicle displays, dealership events and promotions
- Providing a high level of customer service before, during and after the sale

About You

The successful applicant will have:

- Previous experience in automotive sales
- A proven ability to build rapport and close sales
- Robust customer service and communication skills
- A professional, reliable and well-presented manner
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- The ability to work well in a team environment and be a strong team player
- Strong follow-up skills and attention to detail
- Confidence using computers and dealership systems
- The motivation to achieve sales targets and deliver results
- A current Victorian Driver Licence
