Your Development Are you an experienced Registered Scrub Scout Nurse who is passionate about playing a key role within a supportive team in ensuring high levels of patient care are provided? We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse - Scrub Scout to join our Perioperative Team on a full-time basis. As a Perioperative Registered Nurse - Scrub Scout your responsibilities will include:
- Undertake peri-operative nursing care in accordance with legislation
- Deliver evidence-based nursing care
- Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team
- Ensure patient and staff safety
- Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and AINs to deliver patient care (RN only)
- Proactively assess the operative nursing care provided to ensure the best possible outcome is achieved for the individual / patient
- Document into the patient's medical record objectively, clearly,
concisely and timely using accepted abbreviations and terminology

- Current Registration with AHPRA
- 18 months minimum experience as an RN - Scrub Scout
- Working with Children check (if relevant)
- Commitment to Quality Patient Care
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
- Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Works well independently and within a team
