Maintenance Electrician – Solar Farm (Chinchilla, QLD)
Location:Between Dalby & Chinchilla, QLDRoster:10 days on / 4 days off – Starts Tuesday 20 JanuaryShifts:10 hours per day (night & day shift)Accommodation & Meals:Fully provided at camp in Chinchilla
$60/hr– Normal Time
$75/hr– OT1
$105/hr– OT2
Night shift is paid as:
8 hrs @ NT ($60/hr)
2 hrs @ OT1 ($75/hr)
Daily earnings:
8x 60 = $480
2x 75 = $150
Night shift is paid as:
8 hrs @ OT1 ($75/hr)
0.5 hrs @ OT2 ($105/hr)
Daily earnings:
8x 75 = $600

Key Responsibilities
Preventative and corrective maintenance on solar PV systems
Inverter and switchboard inspections, fault finding, and repairs




Electrical testing including insulation resistance, voltage, and continuity
SCADA monitoring and response
Grounding, surge protection, and compliance reporting
Ensuring all work meets safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
Requirements
CurrentQLD Electrical Licence
Construction White Card
LVR/CPR(current)
Solar farm experience highly regarded
Valid driver's licence and reliable transport
