guttering and rainwater systemsSealing joints, penetrations and flashings to provide effective weather protectionUsing ladders, elevated work platforms, scaffolding, hand tools and power tools safelyChecking completed installations for quality, compliance and correct operationWorking closely with supervisors, tradespeople, apprentices and other team membersMaintaining a clean, organised and safe work area The duties reflect the core occupational functions of a Roof Plumber, including interpreting specifications and fabricating and installing metal roofing, rainwater goods and flashings.Qualification & experience To be considered, applicants must have:Certificate III in Roof Plumbing, Plumbing or a closely related trade qualification, or an equivalent recognised qualificationA minimum of 12 months of relevant full time experience in roof plumbing, fascia installation, guttering or metal roofingDemonstrated experience installing fascia, gutters, downpipes, flashings and roof drainage productsSound knowledge of roof drainage principles, installation methods and construction site safetyAbility to read plans, take accurate measurements and calculate material requirementsConfidence using roofing tools, machinery and access equipmentAbility to work safely at heights and in varying weather conditionsStrong attention to detail and pride in producing high quality workAbility to work independently and as part of a teamRelevant trade registration, licence or construction industry credentials where requiredCurrent driver licence preferredAbout Company Onyx Roofing Systems , a regional construction and metal roofing contractor based in Brisbane,.
