The role spans commercial contracts, research and IP-related agreements, privacy, compliance, policy, board support, and external counsel management.Key responsibilitiesProvide high-quality legal advice to executive leadership, the Board, and key stakeholders.Draft, review,



and negotiate a wide range of commercial, research, IP, procurement, and funding agreements.Oversee compliance obligations, including privacy, regulatory, and policy matters.Manage legal risk, and support governance requirements.Manage external legal advisers and legal systems, including contracts workflow.About youAdmitted as a legal practitioner with a current NSW practising certificate.Senior legal experience, ideally gained in a law firm or in-house legal team.Must have IP experience.Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.A cooperative, pragmatic, and commercially focused approach.
