The Korean Cultural Centre AU is recruiting talented and capable individuals who will lead the promotion of Korean culture and the activation of cultural exchange between Korea and Australia.
Below are the details of the recruitment.
Number of Positions: 1
Position Type: Full time (Permanent)
Main Responsibilities
Marketing, Public Relations, Organising various cultural events, etc (TBD)
Qualifications
Must be proficient in both Korean and English.
Must have basic computer skills (document writing in Korean and English).
Must not have disqualifications under Article 33 of the State Public Officials Act of the Republic of Korea (RoK).
Must not have disqualifications under Article 76 of the Military Service Act of the RoK.
Must be Australian citizens, permanent residents, long-term visa holders recognized as residents of Australia (Visa sponsorship is not available)
If you have more than 1 nationality, you must have selected nationality within the legally required period as per Nationality Act of the RoK.
If subject to Immigration Act of the RoK (Articles 4 and 6), you must complete overseas immigration registration before the commencement of employment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in multicultural affairs at arts/cultural organizations, local government authorities (councils), or related institutions
Experience in public relations and external partnerships for major local festivals, including film festivals, writers' festivals, etc
Experience working in the local media industry, including newspapers, television, radio, or other broadcast media
Monthly Wage: AUD 4,******




Additional payments include superannuation, bonuses, performance incentives, welfare benefits, and a small birthday allowance.
Basic Working Hours: 5 days a week (Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM).
Contract Type: Temporary contract for 1 year, and then conversion to permanent contract (with consent from the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of the RoK).
Probation Period: 3 months from the start date.
Selection Process
First Round: Document Screening (Results will be announced on August 12, ****)
Evaluation Criteria: Completeness of self-introduction (Job Suitability 30, Cultural Competency 30, Logical Reasoning 20), work experience in relevant fields (10), qualifications in related fields (10)
If there are tied scores, all tied candidates will pass the document screening and be given an opportunity for the interview.
Second Round: Interview (For those who pass the document screening, scheduled for August 14, ****) (Offline - face to face)
Evaluation Criteria: Professionalism (10), specialized knowledge and application ability (10), communication skills (10), character and integrity (10), creativity/initiative (10), language skills (10)
If there are tied scores,



the candidate with the higher score in the document screening will be selected (if document screening results are also tied, additional interviews will be conducted among the tied candidates)
Final candidates will undergo a criminal background and security check from Australian & Korean authorities before hiring (employment may be cancelled based on the result).
