Supporting financial crime operations for a globally recognised, digitally led financial institution.
You'll work in a fast paced, highly regulated environment, playing a key role in shielding customers, businesses and communities from financial crime.
How it works: You'll spend your first few weeks full time in our Sydney CBD office completing onboarding and training.
Once you've settled in, you'll move to a hybrid rhythm, three days in the office, two from home.
This is a 6 month fixed term contract with the potential to extend to 12 months.

About the Role
As a Financial Crime Analyst, you'll investigate suspicious activity, review transaction monitoring alerts, and support financial crime prevention across a highly regulated environment.
You'll follow established frameworks to keep quality, accuracy and compliance on point, but this isn't a "tick a box" role.
You'll be trusted to apply critical thinking, sound judgement and strong analytical skills to assess risk and support real decisions.
You won't be figuring it out alone, experienced leaders, structured training, and a team that values collaboration and continuous improvement will have your back.
What You'll Bring
At least 12 months experience in Financial Crime, AML, Fraud, Investigations, Risk or Compliance
Demonstrated experience preparing and drafting Suspicious Matter Reports (SMRs)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Confident written communication, you can document findings and recommendations clearly
The ability to juggle competing priorities and hit deadlines without dropping the ball
A genuine commitment to quality, compliance and doing the right thing
A collaborative mindset and a willingness to keep learning
