Locum Emergency Medicine Registrars - PHO level - Cairns, QLDAbout the Role:We are currently recruiting Emergency Medicine Registrars (PHO level) for locum contracts at a major tertiary referral and teaching hospital in Far North Queensland.
3 positions on offer, covering the period 3 August **** through 31 January ****.
This is a fantastic chance to broaden your emergency medicine experience across an incredibly diverse casemix, spanning metropolitan-level acuity through to regional, rural and remote presentations.
You will be based at a large teaching hospital of around 530 beds, well regarded for its teaching culture, multidisciplinary approach and the sheer breadth of presentations that come through its doors.Assess and manage undifferentiated emergency presentations across all acuity levelsProvide high-quality clinical care within a busy tertiary emergency departmentManage resuscitation, trauma and critical care presentations as part of the ED teamCollaborate with senior medical staff, nursing and allied health across a multidisciplinary environmentSupport referral and transfer coordination for regional,
