With on-going training and opportunities for growth, why not join a team that will support your career goals.Purpose / Main area of ResponsibilitiesThe main focus of the Parts Department Assistant is to support the team in 3 key areas:Parts dispatch –helping pick customer orders in preparation for sending.Parts phone room – handling customer phone calls and front counter enquiries.Pre Delivery/accessories – helping pre pick accessories for the next days jobs in the PD workshop.Key job functions & AccountabilitiesParts Department Assistant will carry out a range of duties including but not limited to:Identifying parts and componentsPre-picking parts for workshop job cardsCustomer service including over-the-counter sales and phone enquiriesBuilding and maintaining customer loyalty and supportInvoicing and processing paymentsReceiving and filling orders for partsMaintain safe working setting, and adhere to WH&S; guidelinesAssist in keeping the Parts department clean, well organised, and up to date.Carrying out storage and stock control procedures,



including stock-take.Essential Skills/Qualifications/ExperienceQualifications as a Parts Interpreterand/or experience in a similar role (desired - training will be provided for the right applicant)Technical parts knowledge in the automotive fieldFlexibility and willingness to adapt in dynamic working conditionsCustomer Service focusedEffective time management skills, attention to detail and strong organisational skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsWillingness to learn and accept feedbackAbility to work productively as part of a team and unsupervisedCommitment to Toyota's goals and operational standards.Current valid Queensland Manual drivers licenceThe successful applicant will be given a detailed induction program and ongoing training will be provided.What we offerAt Toowoomba Motors, we pride ourselves on creating a positive, supportive and inclusive work environment for our employees.
