They are a growing practice so a bubbly personality is a must as well as the ability to think on your feet who's able to do the following tasks in Kiama, NSWImmunisations and other injections,TriageChronic disease management,ECGsExplain procedures to patients, providing them with support and reassurance.Assisting with care plans and shared health summariesAssisting with telehealth consultations.Assist doctors with clinical procedures and maintain clinical documentation.Daily co-ordination of the treatment room: stock control, sterilization, general maintenance and care of medical instruments,
and equipmentImplementing and practicing infection controlAssist with Reception and Practice Management duties.About the CandidateCurrent Police CheckCurrent AHPRA registrationCurrent Working with Children clearanceCurrent First Aid/CPR certificateImmunisation RecordDriving licences or photo IDUse of Best Practice programs preferredExperience and knowledge of care plans and health assessmentsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsA caring and collaborative approach to patient careProven multi-tasking, problem-solving and time management skillsEssential QualificationsAppropriate tertiary qualification and registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.Registration in Australian Health Professional Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Current professional indemnity insurance.Current driver's licence.Minimum of one-year nursing experience, preferably in a community-based role.Experience with specific social groups serviced by practice, such as adolescents, aged care, migrant or refuge groups, Aboriginals and Torres Straight islanders, etc.Additional qualifications such as Accredited Women's Health Certificate, Diabetes, Education Certificate, Asthma/Spirometry qualification/education.Customer service focused: committed to providing exceptional customer service across all channels - written, phone and face to face.Communication: the ability to communicate clearly and concisely, varying communication style depending upon the audience.Attention to detail: excellent attention to detail and written skills when communicating with others, both internally and externally.Commerciality: ability to apply knowledge in a practical, commercial manner.Teamwork: willingness to assist and support others as required and get on with team members.Time management/organisation: accomplish objectives effectively within time frame given and carry out administrative duties within portfolio in an productive and timely manner.Hall & Prior Health & Aged Care Group - Kiama, NSW
