With an outstanding reputation for quality, food safety and customer service, they are seeking an experienced QA Officer to support their Quality Assurance Manager and help maintain the highest standards across their operation.The Role:Reporting directly to an experienced QA Manager who has been with the business since ****, you'll play a key role in ensuring quality systems, food safety programs and compliance standards are consistently maintained across both domestic and export production.This is a hands on role with one direct report and significant interaction with production teams.
You'll spend time on the factory floor ensuring standards are upheld, coaching QC's, resolving quality issues and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Working hours are Monday to Friday - 4am – 2pm.Support the QA Manager in the day to day management of the quality department.Monitor production to ensure compliance with quality and food safety standards.Maintain HACCP, GMP, SQF and export compliance requirements.Conduct internal audits, inspections and verification activities.Assist with customer,



regulatory and third party audits.Investigate quality issues and implement corrective and preventative actions.Work closely with production teams to ensure product specifications are consistently achieved.Maintain accurate QA documentation and records.Drive continuous improvement across quality systems and food safety programs.The Candidate:We're looking for a confident and resilient QA professional who's comfortable working in a fast paced meat processing environment and has the confidence to uphold quality standards across the business.
To be successful, you'll ideally have:Previous Quality Assurance experience within the meat processing industry.Robust knowledge of both domestic and export quality requirements.Sound understanding of HACCP, GMP, food safety legislation and export compliance.Experience supporting or leading internal and external audits.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.The confidence to challenge standards where required and maintain a consistent approach to quality and compliance.High attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.Previous supervisory or leadership experience is highly regarded.The Offer:Monday to Friday 4am–2pm.
