This is a hands-on leadership position where you will supervise crews on-site while actively participating in construction works.You will deliver projects ranging from minor works through to major civil infrastructure projects, ensuring safety, quality and compliance with Sydney Water and WSC requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and supervise civil crews' active construction sitesDeliver projects form minor works to major worksRead and interpret construction plans and drawingsPipe laying - sewer,



water & stormwaterInstallation, maintenances chambers & rebuild of manholes (MH)Set out works using lasers and levelling equipmentOperate excavators and associated plantCoordinate daily works and manage site productivityLiaise with Sydney Water inspectors and WSC representativesMaintain WHS compliance and quality standardsSkills & Experience RequiredProven experience as a Civil Team LeaderMinimum 3-5 years of Civil Team Leader experience requiredStrong ability to read and interpret construction plansExtensive pipe laying experience (sewer, water & Stormwater)MH construction and rebuild experienceExcavator operator experienceExperience delivering works from minor works to major civil projectsAbility to lead a team while remaining hands-onStrong communication and problem-solving skillsExperience working with Sydney Water Standards and inspectionsLicenses & Tickets (Essential)Current Driver's LicenseHR License (Required)White Card (Construction Induction Card)Confined Space Entry TicketExcavator tickets (preferred)What we offer:Competitive hourly rate (based on experience)Overtime opportunitiesSupportive professional team environmentOpportunity to grow with an expanding civil contractor
