Our Northern division operates five beef processing plants across Queensland and Northern NSW, producing more than 400,000 tonnes of beef products every year.Situated on 2,000ha, the JBS Riverina Plant is a part of the Riverina integrated farming, feedlot and processing operation.
The cattle are walked from the feedlot to the plant, minimising stress and transportation costs, while simultaneously improving eating quality – one of only two in the southern hemisphere.Based just outside Yanco, between the popular townships of Leeton and Narrandera in the heart of the Murrumbidgee Irrigation district (or Riverina region), our location ensures the ability to source high quality feeder cattle and grain to produce premium beef.

Reporting to the HR Manager,



you will play a key role in supporting WHS and HR processes.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to expand their WHS and HR experience within a large, dynamic organisation.Your key responsibilities will include:Provide First Aid support and respond to workplace incidentsAssist coordination of injury management processes, including the scheduling of physiotherapy appointmentsConduct and coordinate pre-site testingMaintain accurate records and manage entries in HRIS and Injury management computer programsAssist with and participate in Work Health & Safety audits and compliance activitiesProvide general HR administrative support, including documentation, record-keeping and employee supportPromote a strong safety culture across the siteSupport workplace rehabilitation in line with the Workers Compensation and Rehabilitation ActLiaise with medical providers, employees, and stakeholders regarding injuriesAbout YouFirst Aid accredited (desirable, not essential)Experience in WHS, injury management or HR administrationKnowledge of workplace health and safety practicesA strong interest in workplace health, safety and HRExcellent organisation and administrative skillsHigh attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasksStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to handle sensitive and confidential informationA proactive, hands-on approach to supporting employees
