Working closely with the Cook and care team,



you will help ensure residents receive nutritious meals and enjoy a positive dining experience.Key Responsibilities:Assist with meal preparation and serviceClean and sanitize kitchen & dining areasMaintain food safety and hygiene standardsSupport kitchen staff as neededWhat We're Looking For:Minimum one year experience as a catering assistant in the aged care industry or in a comparable role and industrySound knowledge of food safety standards, including safe food handling, storage, and infection control practicesUnderstanding of catering operations and dietary requirements within an aged care facility, including modified diets and texture-modified mealsStrong attention to detail and effective organisational skills to support timely and accurate meal service.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact respectfully with residents, families, and staff.Ability to contribute to a positive dining experience, including meal presentation, resident engagement, and maintaining cleanliness of the servery and dining areas.We are an equal-opportunity employer and encourage applications from individuals of all backgrounds.Offer of employment is subject to a satisfactory police and Reference checks.
