Join Stamford Plaza Brisbane as our Director of Sales & Marketing, leading the commercial success of one of Brisbane’s most iconic hotels.

About the Role We are seeking a dynamic, commercially focused sales leader to drive revenue growth, maximise profitability, and elevate Stamford Plaza Brisbane’s market presence. You’ll lead the sales function across the hotel, developing and executing strategic sales plans that deliver measurable business results.

In collaboration with the General Manager, you’ll manage key client relationships, secure recent business, and inspire a high-performing team to exceed ambitious sales targets.

What You’ll Do

Drive total revenue across Accommodation, Conferencing & Events, and F&B.;

Develop and implement commercial sales strategies to achieve budget goals.

Build and maintain strategic partnerships to grow market share.

Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team for peak performance.

Analyse market trends and competitive data to inform revenue decisions.

Maintain strong client relationships through proactive engagement and negotiation.





Work closely with the General Manager to develop, implement and manage the annual Sales and Marketing budget, forecasts and commercial plans, ensuring revenue, profitability and ROI objectives are achieved.

About You You’re an energetic, results-driven sales qualified with:

5+ years’ experience as a Director of Sales & Marketing or equivalent in hospitality.

Robust commercial acumen and a track record of delivering revenue growth.

Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.

Experience in the Brisbane or broader South East Queensland market (advantageous).

Leadership that inspires accountability, creativity, and performance.

Proven Track Record of Cross functional collaboration to achieve results
