We are seeking a Machine Operator to support our Manufacturing team based in Carole Park.
What you will need:
Previous experience in a quality assurance environment
Valid forklift license
Strong mechanical aptitude
Knowledge and understanding of safety in the workplace
Ability to use computers for the entry and retrieval of process data and machine operation
Robust interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills
All successful candidates will be required to undertake a pre‑employment medical including drug & alcohol screening.
Shift pattern: 2 x 12‑hour day shifts (6am‑6pm) followed by 2 x 12‑hour night shifts (6pm‑6am), with a 4 on 4 off rotation. You must be flexible and open to work across this rotation.
What the role involves
Operating concrete mixing, stacking and splitting machines
Setting up and installing molds and other machine fixtures
Setting grinding and cutting edges
Carry out work in a protected manner,
in accordance with safety procedures
Ensure process efficiencies are achieved and maintained
Ensure production is in line with the specified production schedule
Ensure product quality is in accordance with relevant specifications and that process checks are performed as required
Actively participate in improvement projects
Perform manual handling tasks as part of this role
Be flexible and adaptable with a willingness to embrace shift work
Comply with all WHS safety practices and procedures
