Marketing & Events Coordinator (Hands-On Hospitality Role)Settlers Inn is seeking a dynamic, creative and hands on Marketing & Events Coordinator to join our team full-time in Port Macquarie, NSW.This is not your typical desk based marketing role.
We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and is actively present in the venue capturing content in real time, engaging with guests and playing a key role in the delivery of events and promotions.You will be responsible for building and maintaining our brand presence across digital platforms while also planning, coordinating and executing events and activations on the ground.
From major sporting days and themed events to weekly trade and community activations, you will bring the venue to life both online and in person.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, create and publish engaging content across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and LinkedInBe present in the venue capturing real time content during events, promotions and peak trade periodsPlan, coordinate and execute events, activations and in-venue promotionsManage social media calendars aligned with seasonal campaigns and venue activityMonitor and respond to customer enquiries, comments and messages in a timely and professional mannerAnalyse performance metrics and report on engagement,



reach and campaign effectivenessCollaborate with internal teams to gather content and support marketing initiativesManage and optimise online advertising campaignsBuild solid engagement with our local community through both digital and in-venue presenceStay up to date with social media trends and digital marketing best practicesWhat We're Looking ForProven experience in social media, content creation or digital marketing (hospitality experience highly regarded)A hands on approach with a willingness to work in-venue, including some nights and weekendsExperience in events, activations or on the ground campaign executionStrong communication skills and ability to create engaging, brand aligned contentProficiency in platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and LinkedInExperience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar toolsAbility to manage multiple projects in a fast paced environmentStrong organisational skills and attention to detailCreative thinker with a passion for storytelling and customer experienceExperience in video content and short-form media is highly desirableWhat We OfferAt Settlers Inn, we offer a supportive and energetic workplace where you can truly make an impact.
