You'll work across diverse community and inpatient settings, making a meaningful and lasting impact on young people, families and communities.
As a Consultant Psychiatrist withinChild and Youth Mental Health Services (CYMHS), you will provide expert clinical care across a broad service profile, supporting recovery-focused outcomes through collaborative, consumer-centred practice.
Provide specialist psychiatric assessment and management for children and adolescents
Work across community CYMHS teams and theAdolescent Inpatient Unit
Deliver care across Toowoomba and surrounding rural facilities
Contribute to clinical governance, service improvement and quality initiatives
Support education, supervision and mentoring of junior medical staff and trainees
Promote evidence-based, culturally responsive and family-inclusive care

Fellowship of theRoyal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP)or equivalent
Eligibility for specialist registration withAHPRA
Experience or interest in child and youth mental health across inpatient and community settings
