Civil Plant Operators Wanted | Major Solar Farm Project | 3rd August 2026 Commencement

701 Recruitment is partnering with a leading civil contractor delivering works on the Smoky Creek Solar Farm project kicking off on 3rd August 2026. We're seeking experienced civil operators and labourers to join the team on a major renewable energy project.

With multiple positions available, this is a great chance to secure ongoing work on a well-established project.

We are currently seeking:
Watercart Operators
Moxy Operators
Roller Operators
GPS Excavator Operators (20T-36T)
GPS & UTS Grader Operators
General Civil Labourers (roller and/or watercart tickets highly regarded)

What's on offer:
Ongoing project work
Monday to Saturday roster (6 days on, 1 day off)
10.5-hour days
Excellent team environment
Opportunity to work on a major renewable energy project

To be successful, you'll have:




Previous civil construction experience
Relevant RII tickets for relevant machine operating positions
Relevant plant operating experience for the role you're applying for
Construction White Card
Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport
GPS experience essential for Excavator and Grader positions
UTS experience required for Grader Operators
Ability to work safely in a quick-paced construction environment
Strong work ethic and reliability
