We're building a talent pool forOn Water Farm Attendantopportunities across our Southern Tasmania marine farming operations, fromStorm Bay (Margate) through to Hideaway Bay (Dover).
Successful applicants may be considered for a range of current and future vacancies across our on water teams.
Where could you work?
Depending on your skills, experience and our operational needs, you may join one of the following teams:
Working aboard our Well Boats, you'll support fish health and harvest preparation by:
Assisting with fish bathing operations.
Preparing fish for harvest and supporting harvest activities.
Completing fish transfers between marine sites.
Carrying out general pen and equipment maintenance.
Supporting marine operations across our farming zones when required.
Help maintain and improve our marine farming infrastructure by:
Installing and maintaining nets, pens and mooring systems.
Assisting with fish transfers and feeding activities.
Supporting infrastructure upgrades and equipment installations.
Monitoring predator activity and maintaining farming equipment.
Contributing to the secure operation of our marine leases.
Work alongside our Fish Performance team to help improve fish growth and welfare by:
Feeding fish in line with trial requirements.
Monitoring fish health, behaviour and performance.
Collecting accurate trial data and environmental observations.
Maintaining trial pens, nets and equipment.
Supporting research that helps shape the future of sustainable aquaculture.
Help keep our farming operations running efficiently by:
Maintaining feeding equipment, cameras and winches.
Responding to requests from our Control Room.
Monitoring fish behaviour and predator activity.
Supporting the maintenance of feed barges, vessels and marine equipment.
Assisting with general site maintenance across our marine leases.

Has a positive attitude and enjoys practical, hands-on work.
Works well within a team and communicates effectively.
Can adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
Takes pride in working safely and looking after those around you.
Has strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
Preferred licences and tickets
The following licences and tickets are highly regarded and will be viewed favourably during the selection process:
Recreational or Commercial Boat Licence
ADAS Part 2
Working at Heights
Any other relevant marine, aquaculture or construction industry tickets
Experience on the water and relevant marine or industry qualifications are highly regarded but not essential.
