The Prospect
We are growing our internal team of tradespeople and are seeking an experienced, multi-skilled tradesperson to join us on a permanent basis. This hands-on role is central to the delivery of our fitout projects — you'll be responsible for constructing internal partitions, doors and ceilings to the highest standard across a variety of commercial environments.
What You'll Be Doing
Setting out walls accurately from drawings and documentation
Constructing plasterboard partitions — including setting out, steel framing, sheeting and finishing/setting of walls to a high standard
Building plasterboard ceilings including taping and setting joints to a smooth, paintable finish
Installing grid and tile suspended ceiling systems
Assembling and installing glass partition framing systems ready for glazier site measure
Cutting down and installing MDF doors with associated hardware
Measuring, cutting and assembling framed glass swing and sliding doors
Working collaboratively with associated trades on site as part of a broader project team
What We're Looking For
Proven experience across plasterboard partitions and ceilings — you must be an experienced plasterer capable of setting your own walls
Solid experience with glass partition framing assembly
Demonstrated ability to install and hang MDF and framed glass doors
Valuable general building knowledge and the ability to manage trades as required
High attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
Reliable, self-motivated and able to work independently when required
