Help at Home by Montefiore is a not-for-profit organisation committed to delivering high-quality home care, empowering individuals to live with choice, dignity and independence.
We are currently seeking experiencedCasual Personal Care Workersto support our Aged Care and NDIS clients across theLower North Shorewith flexible shifts available ranging from 1 hour up to 24 hours.
Daily responsibilities will include:
Personal care (Shower assist, feeding, toileting)
Experienced in cognitive support and dementia-type care
Domestic assistance
Meal preparation
Social support and companionship
Chaperone to appointments- if necessary
Companionship
Casual Position - hours are from 1 hour shifts up to 24-hour shifts
Requirements for this role:
Available during the week and on weekends
High level of verbal communication skills -Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential
Impeccable presentation at all times
Must be able to work varies shifts ranging from 1 hour up to 24 Hour / Overnight shifts
Must have:
Certificate III or IV in Individual Support/Aged Care or similar
Min 3 years' experience working in a personal care worker capacity.
Must have a car with comprehensive insurance and a current driver's licence.
