s a Clinical Nurse Consultant in Infection Prevention, you'll bring the following skills and experience:

Do you currently hold Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA, at least 7 years full-time equivalent post registration experience, with at least 5 years full time equivalent experience in the specialty field Please attach a copy of your AHPRA registration and associated qualifications with your application.
The applicant must have approved postgraduate nursing/midwifery qualifications relevant to the field in which he/she is appointed, or such other qualifications or experience deemed appropriate by South Western Sydney Local Health District (SWSLHD).
Demonstrated ability to identify service improvement opportunities.
Including the capacity to initiate change and negotiate support from key stakeholders across the organisation in clinical practice implementation
Demonstrated application of highly developed verbal and written communication to debate complex concepts with experts and support long term relationships with broad range stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to influence and lead change at an organisational level that supports strategic directions and enhance clinical practice and service delivery.

Demonstrated ability to think critically, problem solve and make timely and sound clinical decisions whilst working autonomously e.g. understanding the application of evidence-based practice, risk reduction and management and the principles of continuous quality improvement in infection prevention.
