This respected national commercial law firm is home to more than 300 professionals across Australia and is recognised for delivering high-quality legal services to an impressive client base.
Due to continued growth, the firm is seeking a Senior Associate or Special Counsel (5+ PAE) to join its nationally recognised Commercial Group and work across a broad range of commercial property and development matters.
Working as part of a collaborative national practice, you will enjoy direct client contact, significant autonomy and the opportunity to play a meaningful role in mentoring junior lawyers while working alongside highly regarded practitioners in the field.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced property lawyer seeking greater autonomy, client responsibility and a clear pathway for continued career progression within a growing national practice.
The Work
You will be involved in:
Drafting, reviewing and negotiating property agreements across commercial, residential and rural sectors.
Advising on commercial real estate transactions, acquisitions and disposals.
Conducting due diligence for property acquisitions and sales.




Preparing and negotiating leasing and conveyancing documentation.
Advising clients on development matters, strata titling and community title arrangements.
Providing Body Corporate and Community Management advice.
Managing transactions through to completion, including PEXA matters where required.
Advising clients on complex property and commercial matters, including development, leasing, acquisitions, disposals and risk management strategies.
Liaising directly with clients and stakeholders to facilitate successful commercial and property transactions.
Mentoring and coaching junior lawyers.
You will advise a diverse client base including developers, investors, landlords, tenants, agribusiness operators and private clients across Australia.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
5+ years' post-admission experience in commercial property law
Strong experience across property transactions, conveyancing, leasing and development matters.
A sound understanding of property law across commercial, residential and rural sectors.
Excellent drafting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Solid commercial judgement and the ability to deliver practical, client-focused advice.
Outstanding communication and relationship management skills.
The ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
A collaborative approach and genuine commitment to mentoring and professional development.
