The Opportunity
Velvet Barrel Fine Wine Imports is seeking an experienced and motivated
Field Sales Representative
to help grow our presence within Sydney's restaurant and hospitality sector.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing current business opportunities, managing customer relationships, and expanding our market presence across your territory. You will identify prospective clients, build lasting partnerships, and achieve sales targets through your knowledge of the hospitality industry and passion for premium wines.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Proven experience in field sales, business development, or territory management, preferably within the wines, or hospitality industry.




A demonstrated ability to generate new business and consistently achieve sales targets.
Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills, with the confidence to engage decision-makers across restaurants, bars, and hospitality venues.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, together with strong organisational and time management abilities.
A proactive, self-motivated approach and the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
A current Australian driver's licence.
