Consistent 40-hour weekswith occasional overtime

Long-term, ongoing role with the goal & prospect for FT employment
Work on major infrastructure projects acrossSydney Watersites
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experienceas a Mechanical Fitter, ideally in water treatment or similar industrial & construction environments.
Australian Recognised Trade Certificatein relevant discipline
White Card (Construction Induction Card)- mandatory
Valid Australian work rights (citizen, permanent resident, or unrestricted visa)
Strong understanding and commitment tosite safety protocols
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
Able tofollow instructions and work autonomouslywhere required
Desirable but not essential
Crane, forklift, telehandler, ewp tickets highly regarded
Excavator Operator ticket
Rigger / Dogman tickets
Confined Space, Working at Heights, or other safe work tickets
Local toWollongong areaor willing / able to travel to site
Key Responsibilities
Performmechanical maintenanceon water treatment equipment and plant machinery
Maintain and repairpipes, valves, conveyors, and pumps
Assist withgeneral labouring tasksaround the plant as needed
Support daily operations to ensure smooth functionality of the treatment plant
Participate in site toolbox talks andmaintain strong safety practices
