Industrial Relations Review Specialist (Contract) – Immediate Start

Are you an experienced Industrial Relations professional with strong knowledge of NSW industrial relations legislation, workplace bullying and harassment matters, and workers compensation frameworks?
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Relations Review Specialist to join a high-performing team responsible for conducting statutory reviews and delivering quality outcomes for customers and stakeholders.
About the Role
In this role, you will utilise your specialist industrial relations expertise to deliver accurate and timely reviews in accordance with the Workplace Injury Management and Workers Compensation Act ****, as amended by the Workers Compensation Legislation Amendment Act ****.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting accurate and timely reviews in accordance with legislative requirements.
Applying industrial relations expertise to determine whether allegations of bullying, harassment, or excessive work demands meet relevant legislative definitions.
Producing transparent, comprehensive, and well‐reasoned determinations and supporting documentation.
Maintaining accurate records of customer and stakeholder interactions.
Collaborating with legal advisors, managers,



and internal stakeholders to achieve positive customer outcomes.
Ensuring compliance with regulatory, administrative, and privacy law requirements.
Undertaking additional duties as required.

Essential Requirements To be successful, you will demonstrate:
4+ years' experience
managing
NSW Industrial Relations or Fair Work industrial relations matters
.
Strong understanding of
workers compensation legislation
.
Comprehensive knowledge of
NSW industrial relations laws relating to bullying and harassment
.
Excellent analytical, investigative, and decision-making skills.
Strong written communication skills, including preparing detailed determinations and reports.
A passion for delivering quality customer outcomes and a proactive problem-solving approach.
Desirable
Admission as a Legal Practitioner to the Supreme Court of NSW.
Current practising certificate as a solicitor.
Experience conducting or advising on claim reviews.
