About the Role
Working within an active coal mining operation, you'll be responsible for the construction,



maintenance and repair of mine infrastructure to ensure facilities remain safe, functional and operational.
Typical duties include:
Constructing, maintaining and repairing mine site buildings, workshops and amenities
Building and installing formwork for concrete foundations and civil works
Completing maintenance and refurbishment of site infrastructure
Interpreting plans and specifications to complete carpentry works
Working alongside other trades and maintenance teams to deliver scheduled works
Maintaining a safe work environment and complying with all mine site procedures
Completing inspections and ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards
About You
To be successful, you will have:
Minimum 2 years' mine site carpentry experience (mandatory)
Current Standard 11 (S11) – mandatory
Current Coal Board Medical – mandatory
Australian Trade Qualification in Carpentry
Current Driver's Licence
Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
Ability to work effectively within a team environment
